Greg was with me in Burbank this week, and we had our ups, mostly.
I made it (?) onto my first jury.
The place where I lunch in downtown LA, on May 4th:
Me: Can you please play the Beastie Boys?
Server: Oh, we've had the Beastie mix on Pandora ever since the news came out.
I sat in the dark with seven other guys at the counter, on our phones, bobbing our heads, to sweet, sweet hip hop. Conversation about favorite albums, timelines, etc. brought us all a little closer together.
Yes, I consider myself a guy.
